Celebrating the life of
John Edward Slotke
March 21, 1933 - December 10, 2025
John Edward Slotke, 92, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025. Born on March 21, 1933, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late John Frederick Slotke and Caroline Rufenacht.

John was deeply committed to service—in both his community and his church. He worked faithfully as a church secretary, served as an adult leader with the Boy Scouts, and was active in the Evergreen and Warren Masonic Lodges. He was also a proud Shriner, serving as President of both the Ocean City and Hamilton Shrine organizations.
He enjoyed living in several places throughout his life, including Baltimore, Ocean City, and Marco Island, where he built friendships and memories that lasted a lifetime.

He is survived by his son, Craig Slotke, and daughter-in-law, Diane Slotke; and his grandchildren, Shawn Brown (Rob), Michele Floeckher, (Charles, and children Eleanor and Charles John), Hannah Deegan (Gary Fuller), and Sarah Martin (Conrad and children Cecilia, Vera, and Greta).
